1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vizix (the "App") or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. If you're using Vizix on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. Your license to use Vizix

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vizix on devices you own or control, for your own creative purposes — personal or commercial. This license is subject to these terms and to the rules of the app store you downloaded from (the Apple App Store or Google Play).

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, shaders, or assets of the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your content is yours

You're free to use exported videos however you like, including monetized social posts, subject to the acceptable-use rules below. Videos exported on a free tier may include a small "Made with Vizix" watermark; unlocking the relevant pack removes it. You are responsible for the content you create and where you publish it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vizix to:

• Break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Create or distribute content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that depicts or promotes harm.
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or other users' devices.
• Misrepresent Vizix's output as endorsed by us, or remove attribution in violation of your tier.

5. Purchases & refunds

Vizix is free to download and includes optional one-time purchases that unlock additional effect packs. There are no subscriptions.

• All purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms.
• Purchased packs are tied to your store account and can be restored on your devices at no extra cost.
• Refunds are handled by the app store according to its policy — please contact Apple or Google directly for refund requests.
• Prices and pack contents may change over time; any change applies only to future purchases.

6. Our intellectual property

The Vizix name, logo, app design, built-in effects, shaders, and all related software and assets are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Your license to use the App does not transfer any of these rights to you. Nothing in these terms grants you the right to use the Vizix name or branding except as the App itself allows (for example, the export watermark).

7. Availability & updates

We work hard to keep Vizix running well, but we don't guarantee the App or any optional online features (such as push notifications) will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. Some effects depend on your device's graphics capabilities and may perform differently across hardware.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Vizix is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vizix and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum permitted by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Vizix at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the App evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Vizix after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
